Emarosa
Quoted as being "the best vocalist in the scene," Jonny Craig and Emarosa put on their usual amazing show opening for Pierce The Veil. Jonny's incredible voice set over heavy guitars and intricate drums creates the perfect mix of melodic post hardcore. I highly encourage everyone to go pick up their album, Relativity.
Underoath
By now, everybody and their mom knows about Underoath. They paved the way for this genre of music to go more "mainstream." Everything about their set was perfection. From the lights, to the music itself, to the giant projector screen playing crazy clips behind drummer and vocalist Aaron Gillespie. The show was nonstop craziness from beginning to end. A continuous wave of crowd surfers kept Todd Owyoung and myself having to dodge flying kids and security while trying to keep front man Spencer Chamberlain in focus which was quite the task in itself. Check out Todd's site for more photos as well as promo pics of the band.
Saosin
Post hardcore rockers Saosin were up after TDWP. Cove, Beau, Chris, Alex, and Justin played lots of newer and old hits including Seven Years, Sleepers, and You're Not Alone. They also played some brand new stuff that was pretty heavy compared to what they are known for.
The Devil Wears Prada
They may not be the heaviest out there, but metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada put on one of the most brutal shows I have ever seen. Mike Hranica and the guys were openers for now giants, Underoath. Normally this would mean playing a short set while people are just showing up, but TDWP had the pit packed and going crazy.
Hey Monday
Hey Monday put on a great show, also opening for The Academy Is. Front-woman Cassadee had the crowd going crazy from the moment they walked in the door. Which is quite the task being the first opening band. Be sure to check out ishootshows.com for promo pics.
We The Kings
We The Kings opening for The Academy Is at Pop's. Also check out the setup shots for Todd Owyoung's promo shots of the band.

Cobra Starship
Dance-rockers Cobra Starship put on a crazy show at Pop's with openers Forever The Sickest Kids.
Warped Tour Chicago 2008
My second warped tour of the year, Chicago had a lot of the same great bands as St. Louis, as well as a few new ones. Bring Me The Horizon, The Devil Wears Prada, and Sky Eats Airplane were some favorites.

It's 2009!
It has been a while since I updated this thing, and I kind of gave up on writing the code for a real site so I will just use this for the time being. Already have a few shows lined up for the new year as well as a new camera very soon. I'll be posting up some of the sort of recent stuff I have done later.
